I changed to Corsair XMS DDR 2 800 is this better?

A few of the systems I built with my friends have the Corsair RAM you mentioned. It performs well, though I'm not sure what their limits are because we didn't overclock them.

G.Skill and Corsair are both excellent memory producers, and either way you'd have an excellent pair.

Yep. Both are the TWIN2X2048-6400C4 set.

The Gskill set is there PK's they have Mosel IC's.. I have now clue how those overclock..

Last I read the Corsairs there got the Elphia treatment (450ish max frequency) more info can be found here http://www.houseofhelp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=44365

If your sticking with high end air cooling.. 400mhz frequency is about all you will need to run 1:1 so the cheapest PC2-6400 DDR2 800 ram will do that at stock frequency.
