I have a motherboard that handle 8X. It run the version of AGP 3.0. I recently updated the drivers for the chipset but because it was so long time ago the drivers have come to AGP 4.6. It works but I wonder if there would be any complications because I don't know if my motherboard can handle AGP 4. I have experienced some hard drive lagging with games but I'm not sure if it has to do with the driver upgrade.
By the way what is AGP version 4.0 and are it's drivers back compatible with 3.0?

I run the P4 chipsets: P4X400
Until now I ran the 4 in 1 driver that came along with the install disc.
Do I need to do some bios tweaking?
