I have an ASUS A7N8X-E Deluxe rev1.04 motherboard.

I had to replace my hard drive, and just did a fresh install of Windows XP Pro.

I have been able to get the Ethernet driver loaded (copied onto CD, and Windows found it when I went to update the driver. As well as the SM Bus controller driver installed.

However, where do I find the Universal Serial Bus Controller driver...I can't seem to find it on ASUS's website
Any ideas???

I assumed this driver package is correct. But there's no USB Controller Driver

I chose the NVIDIA nForce all in one Drivers for XP WHQL package version 2.64

I installed what it contained below

Audio driver 3.62 (WHQL)
Ethernet driver 3.46 (WHQL)
GART driver 3.34 (WHQL)
SMBus driver 3.38 (WHQL)
IDE driver (In-the-box) 3.43 (WHQL)
Installer 3.65

Hey thanks a lot...I have a dumb question sorta.

Should I bother to update?? So far things are running smoothly..always wonder if I should or not. Mind you I haven't installed any games yet.

If everything is running fine for you, and you're happy w/ the performance... then there's really no need to update. Some folks prefer to always have the latest and greatest chipset drivers installed, as improvements of sorts have more than likely been incorporated into the newest driverset.

THanks..I tend to stay w/what works, unless some game doesn't function etc.

I'll see more in the future.as I know that download does have some performance increases for games..Im not even sure I had that one on my old drive before I got those terrible Trojans.
