How To Enable Classic Control Panel Without 3rd Party Software

Some people are having problems with only being able to see the NEW nVidia Control Panel and not being able to see anything in that control panel... (8800's especially)

anyways was searching and found this registry hack..

What this does, it puts an option in the New control panel that allows you to switch back to the classic control panel.

Got it working.

You have to make sure that you have these settings in registry first.

TaskbarUIPolicy 2
CplGroupUIPolicy 2
ContextUIPolicy 2

you know thats weird, different people are having different reactions to this registry hack..

this morning i installed the new .97's for my 8800gts and used driver cleaner and got this working without any problems.

Yeah, some times it works some times it doesnt. Nvidia is funny that way with their drivers now days.

Ya, I don't have the option. It's either/or the old panel when I choose "3".

The "New" control panel was a change for the worst if you ask me.
