8800 gts question... again

Well I got my 8800 gts installed and she fired right up. I installed the 97.92’s the nvidia release.

My monitor (Samsung 940bw) native resolution is 1440 x 900 – any setting I have the monitor on… even 1440 x 900 is blurry. Does anyone else have this problem? Or does anyone know what might be the cause?

Make sure in the nVidia Control Panel>Display>Change Flat Panel Scaling you have "Use my displays built-in scaling" enabled. If it is try the other options.

Thats strange...have you installed special drivers for the monitor? If not you should give it a try, maybe the plug and play drivers are the problem with your particular monitor.

Just a setting that video cards can use that will sync your framerate to what your monitors refresh rate is to prevent horizontal tearing.

If you have installed specific monitor drivers try uninstalling them and using the plug and play drivers. The P&P drivers for my Viewsonic were so much better than the ones that actually came with the monitor.

Change refresh rate to highest your monitor allows it.
