I know that is a single board computer and I have a feeling that is meant to plugged into a passive backplane, but was wondering if it can be run without the backplane?

I have an idea ya see.

looks like something they would use for servers that runs mulitiply of those on one board or something but i dont know if you can run it with our a backplate or not
