well, basically the active ingredient in AS5 is silver, so basically, if its spreadable, its fine. and for future reference, something like this should go in the cooling section.
 
If it sets in one position long enough they say the oils will separate from the silver. I just keep mine on a shelf and move it around every now and then.
 
They suggest that the tube is stored with the tip down then any seperation will occur at the top of the tube. I don't think the stuff will go bad honestly. To reduce seperation it can be stored in the fridge.
