(taking suggestions on 80mm Silent Fans, other options that i could do, and any random thoughts you guys have)

Project: "BS" aka Big Server

anyways doing a major update to my Home Theater / File Server and you guys get to watch..

soo ill give you guys a little heads up, gonna order parts when taxes come in..

Anyways this is what i have..

Current Server Specs Rig:

1GB Kingston Value Ram PC3200
Sony DVD-Rom
1 20GB PATA
2 400GB PATA
4 400GB Sata (4 port sata card)
Ultra X-Finity 500w
Chainteck 5200 AGP
WinXP Pro SP2
Thermaltake Shark
17" Mag LCD

And What ill be adding to the server to help speed it up...

1GB PC3200 Single Stick (NEVER PURCHASED)
TV Tuner (NEVER PURCHASED)
Sound Card (NEVER PURCHASED)
USB Card (NEVER PURCHASED)

2-4 400GB Sata (PURCHASED 2 AND DELIVERED)
3 Silverstone Conversion Kits (PURCHASED AND DELIVERED)
1 DVI to HDMI Cable (PURCHASED AN DELIVERED)
3 80mm Zalman Silent Fans (PURCHASED AND DELIVERED)
4 Port Sata Card (PURCHASED AND DELIVERED)

i will also be doing some major changes to the design..

Ill be using this case




combo it with 3 of these



and removing all the fans, and switching out the 120mm with these

YATE LOON D12SL-12 120MM BLACK LOW SPEED FAN 47CFM 28DB




and removing the 3 80mm fans and replacing them with silent fans.. which i need help finding..

ill also be replacing the fans in my power supply with silent fans (if i decide to)

i will also be using rubber mounts on everything, probably some quiet sound dampening material also (NEVER HAPPENED)

grabbing a DVI to HDMI converter to connect to my plasma (ALREADY DONE)

and ill also be building a new home entertainment center for this and my other goodies

thats not all.. ill be finding stuff that needs to be done closer to the purchasing date... so if you have any ideas lemme know

w-2s get sent out last week of january by government law. filed with Jackson Hewitt... they offer next day cash loans for a small fee think it was $174 filing fee, and $75 for the loan..

simple as that..

WOOT EVERYTHING IS HERE! well almost everything, still awaiting 2 more seagate 400gb hdds from newegg, should be here tuesday.. but for now the madness begins.

soo all around

$520 give or take a few dollars

server and hard drives run VERY cold because of each 120mm fan blowing on 4 hard drives on the silverstone cages.

total of 3 120mm Intake fans, 1 120mm Exhaust Fan, 3 80mm Side Fans (2intake 1 exhaust)

this is a beast, its weighing in around 100 pounds and counting right now.. well maybe not that much.

Anyways hard drives finally arrived today that makes 6 Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 SataII 16mb Cache Hard Drives (and 1 7200.9 ATA 16mb Cache Drive )
