I'm not quite sure because you have a REALLY tiny screen. I use Pocket Breeze on my device so as to get a better overview of my day. It has tabs so you can perhaps put some Today screen stuff in a side tab. The only flaw is that updates to the program are more commonly found in a form post than on their website! There is a ContactBreeze as well but I wouldn't look into that too much until it recieves its' MAJOR update, since it will be dramatically changed soon.

Google Earth is now in mobile form on the Pocket PC. There should be a Virtual Earth mobile too (that being from Microsoft), but I haven't looked into it.

I use AvantGo quite a bit, it is a worthwhile application for me... although there are alternatives if you only sorta like AvantGo. It is essentially mobile versions of websites that you download and then read later.

Of course there are several Pocket PC freeware sites... but the one below I tend to like the best.

For games, there is Hot Death Uno and Superdoku. I also have a freeware minesweeper clone that is a bit difficult to find because the parent company exists no longer... but it is an exact clone for Minesweeper.

Fair warning though, I don't know if ANY of these games will work on your device because of the screen being smaller... worth a try though.

That should be a start at least.

Simcity 2000 I just got. I also purchased worms world party... both are very nice games.... but they are .exe installs. They install a .cab on your device, but you have to have it synced to your pc when you do so. So I'm not sure if they'll work with your phone, unless you can sync it up with activesync to your pc )

I play them on my dell axim x51

Can you sychronize your device? What OS are you syncing to?

If you have an exe, and you cannot sync your device, then run the installer anyways. It will eventually quit because it cannot install... but it will leave a cab file somewhere while the installer is running. In some cases the installer dumps a cab file into a folder under the Program Files directory... in other cases, it is in some temp folder. If you can find that cab file then you should be able to kidnap it to your device.

Earlier, I mentioned Pocket Breeze. On the same developer website I found an application made for smartphones that is very similar called Facade. Perhaps it will be more interesting? Pocket Breeze, as is, usually comes with cab files as part of the zip file that you download... Anyways, if you email support, I'm sure you can get cab files from them.

<edit> Upon reading the site... it will support your screen type. See the bottom of the page for more information. </edit>

Here is another freeware site... I don't browse it much though. It is made for a pocket pc's screen (so it is TINY). Also, the site has CAB files only. So, go there with your pda, click on a file, install right away. Kinda nice.

Considering your situation, the above link might be a good alternative.

" From time to time, Microsoft release a game that they are also selling in a Game Pack. Here is the famous Hearts.
The concept of the game is close to Belote (without trump) and you need to do as little points as you can, knowing that the cards with value are hearts and the queen of spades.
Expect having a good time with a game that won't get you bored that quickly. "

It is kinda old... but the only one I can find quicky. Perhaps it will make do.
