Horribly easy question

I’ve been out of the AMD loop for a very time now, but for a very specific case… will this processor be able to run windows xp – 32 bit original vanilla sp2 whatever on this mobo? I think I have the versions correct. I just wanted a bit of confirmation before I pulled the trigger.

I already have 512mb of some very good Corsair PC3200 and the rest of a fully functional system, minus the proc & mobo from a previous build. (intel) and I need a budget system that can still use my ddr1.

Edit: Not the system in my sig.

Short answer: Yes.

Dad's rig was based on that combination until I put an Opteron 170 in it.

nothing would stop it from running windows. i've got xp on my p3 733mhz right now, with 256mb ram. it works fine.
