Reformating questions?

If I reformat my harddrive do i have to reinstall eventing again like the antivirus and windows and the rest of my apps.

with a format, you'd be basically wiping the whole drive and starting over. Reinstalling the programs might be a pain, but it does give you the opportunity to start off fresh, and only installing the programs your going to use on a daily basis.
