better defrag?

its probably not a big deal, but why dont my hd defrag all into one block? it just annoys me that there is a big gap there!

Your data should go all into one spot... On a Windows partition its is due to certain immovable files (like pagefile and hiberfil)

Although... do a good defraggging and then take an image of your harddrive then format and reimage it and everything will be jammed right atthe beginning

Have you tried moving any pagefiles etc onto a different drive? I dont see it as a problem personally as long as its not red and blue striped.

Or you can get a better defragging program like PerfectDisk which will move all files.
