picked one of these up today... it's the oem version so there's no box or cables included. Not a bad backup drive tho.

OEM = 3yr warranty = GOOD !

Maxtor is now Seagate = GOOD !

Is it worth it compared to buying a 320gb perp drive for $95 ($90 if the coupon still works)?

I know some maxtor's are supposidly perp drives, but the 300 most likely isn't.
