how do i flash my dq6 bios in windows vista ultimate x86? i cant install any of the utilitys....

i get the not compatible with 98/me

never ever flash a bios in windows, it only leads to trouble.

i dont own a floppy dirve ,er well i do but it came fro a gateway pc i don't trust it

Ive flashed my DQ6 twice now. First time was a dos flash, second winblows xp flash. Ive been flashing both ways for some time. The only flash Ive ever had go bad was a dos flash. It bricked a MSI Plat series board. Not a bad thing over all. It spawned the Conroe builds.

Floppy drives aren't to be trusted no matter where they come from. But seeing all you have is a floppy from a Gateway,, work with it or go buy a new cant be trusted floppy. I just bought a new floppy and I noticed yesterday its bad now. Nobody is home. Thats why I did the winblows flash.

F9 is a good bios for the DQ6,,, Good Luck
