Well, it’s that time I wanted to do what I should have done in the first place that will take a few days.

The goal: to clean up the mess I've started in my case (Silverstone TJ06)

Things i want to get out of the mod:
1. Silence my case
2. Mount my pump in a more permanent location
3. Effectively cool my chipset
4. Effectively cool my memory
5. Mount my reservoir in a better location
6. New tubing and cool sleeves
7. Experimentation with EL wire and Strip lighting
8. Stealth my wiring and cables as much as possible
9. Add LianLI caster Wheels for easy transport
10. Liquid Cool My 7800GT
11. Change out my current power supply fan for a Delta fan ( maybe, depending on how quiet it is at low speeds)
12. OCZ Memory Cooler (I may or may not go with this unless I can take out the LED’s
13. paint my case white (powder coat)

Things I need to buy:
• Silverstone Aluminum IO panel 3.5 bay (maybe a multifunction panel instead)
• AMD Appliqué
• Lian Li casters
• EL Strips 2x Green
• Logisys EL cable (White)
• Washer for power supply
• 2x TermalTake noise Dampening Kits (is this stuff pre cut for TT cases? If yes, substitute a different kit)
• Swiftech MCX 159 Chipset cooler for my Chipset
• Primoflex ½ ID x ¾ OD tubing (10 FT)
• Swiftech 500 Coolsleeves 10ft– Clear
• Swiftech MCres Micro Bracket kit
• Rocker switch for Lights
• Round Black IDE cable 24” for 2x IDE hard drives
• Swiftech Water block for 7800GT (not sure what model I am getting from a friend, but I’m getting a deal on it)
• Female Floppy connector to Male Molex for cable stealthing
• PCI-E 12” extension for power for stealthing
• New pump relay
• rubber washers for pump, res, and anything that needs to be screwd into the case, or held

Edit : will have pictures when I have time to take them of the wiring deamon i have right now

It looks like it'll be a tight squeeze in that case. Maybe try using a smaller tubing diameter.

it'll be ok, its just where my pump was at was kinking my tubing considerably

made little progress yesterday

IMG_1635.jpg

mounted my waterblock :)

^ i think i'm changing this. I don't like how the pump is laying on the IDE drive cables. i might move my radiator to the other side of the case to give the pump more clearance. here is a closer look at it
IMG_1638.jpg

the strip lighting turned out to be splentendious (yes i know thats not a word, but for now it is!)
IMG_1639.jpg

its hard to see it, but it lights up the case rather nice

negative, its a Swiftech MCX 159

edit: also, they make a cpu cooler like the mcx too

yay!, case is finished :)

one problem i did have was getting air out of my lines :( the current concoction i have right now for my coolant needs some more coolant, so when i get a chance i'm gonna buy some hydrex to put in when i get some extra money.

i wasnt able to hide as many wires as i wanted, however, i did get a majorty of them and the strip lights came out pretty good after i had to epoxy them onto my case.

IMG_1658.jpg

here is my pump, i liked how Captian Slug has his relay mounted, so i did the same :) the switch in the back is for my Strip lights.

IMG_1645.jpg

here is my side panel with everything on. overall, i'm happy with what i've done :)

i'm getting pretty decent temps with the waterblocks. currently my cpu's at 22c and my GPU is at 31 :)
