Well, I just recently noticed this. I think I've been seeing it ever since I updated to the latest nVidia drivers, but,

I can move any dark window around and those little lines will start appearing the more I move the window around.

Is this a sign of a dying monitor? As I've only had monitor tubes go out. This is a SAMSUNG SuncMaster 997DF CRT monitor.

nVidia drivers: 93.71

I can move my mouse over the dots and it covers them, so that doesn't lead me to believe it's the monitor.

So yes, sorry for my stupidity if it isn't even the monitor at all, I've just never had this problem before.

Ok... Seems the worst is upon me :(

I must replace the video card. And it's not under warranty as I purchased from someone >_< Guy said it was due to a corruption in the vid card's memory.

Well.... Guess I'm off shopping for a new vid card :p
