IDE as Primary, Sata as secondary slave?

Will there be any problems adding a secondary sata drive with an IDE already as a primary? I know I will most likely have to make some bios changes, but nothing major, right? I am hoping to have this drive to dump all of my music and files on, I figured going sata would be the most practical, maybe I am wrong?
