Limited to no connectivity

Hey guys,

One computer on the network has issues connecting to the internet. It has the "limited to no connectivity" on the icon, and it does not work. The other two on the same router work fine.

My mom updated some stuff this afternoon, but claims that it didn't work before that. I used the system restore to move back to yesterday and then a week again, didn't help.

I also unplugged/replugged the router and the connections themselves. I also ran the "create a home network" which went fine. I tried to repair the connection, but it fails during the renew process.

Any help would be great.

Got it.

Changed the name of the computer while running the network config. Worked.

Why would doing that make any difference? Can someone please explain?
