Hi I have an old Compaq Evo 1050v and I wanted to know how I would go about getting the second expansion card slot to work as the laptop come with a hole for one but he pins aren’t at the bottom and some plastic bars the way to put a card in.

I was wanting to know if I could solder the pins in and update the bios and have a second working card slot?

well I've tried searching on notebookforums and notebookreview and I couldn't find anything. My guess is it's not possible.
