USB 2.0 not reading as 2.0

Everytime I plug something into my usb ports, I get a message that says the device could preform faster, to plug it into usb 2.0. Not sure if my usb ports are setup properly or what. I am a complete noob at this, sorry. Could anyone tell me how to set them up to fix this, please?

It's probably a motherboard driver problem. Go to ASUS's site and download/install all the latest drivers.
