hi.

i´m thinking in order a new rig or stay with what i have; here it is what i have.

asus sli deluxe.
fx-53 @2'95mhz.
2gb ocz platim @475mhz.
xxx geforce 7950gx2
be-quiet 520w
raptor 150gb

and here is what i´m thinking to get;

asus striker
e6600 with tuniq tower ultra
2gb ocz ddr2 pc2-8500 1066mhz sli-ready edition
gamextreme 700w ocz power supply
i will keep the x7950gx2, the raptor, case (therm. armor).

will i notice diference with the new rig overclocked for games???

thank you

IMO you wont see much difference if any in games. You will see difference in game benchmarks, but not actual play. Even games like Oblivion wont get too much better as they are all graphics oriented.

Where you will see a huge difference is things like encoding and rendering programs. If neither is something you do on a daily basis then I would stay with what you have.

all right then. thank you.

i though that my asus sli-deluxe was a bit old an also the rest of components except the graphic card (is the newest of the bunch).

i was going to wait for the r600 to come out and then replace it too with the best or the r600 or 8800....

let´s see what happen.
