vista can't connect to XP shares

I have a printer a few folders shared on an XP desktop. I can connect to each of them just fine with any other xp computer or laptop, but vista can't connect. I get a \\COMPUTER-NAME is not accessible... access is denied, when i try to view the shares from the network menu. It doesn't even let me see what is shared. No other computer has a problem viewing these shares. Also, I can view the vista shares from this xp computer.

Same account on both computers, same password. firewall disabled on both sides.

Sounds like Network Discovery is off on Vista in your Network and Sharing Center.
