I keep trying to set manual fan speeds for my folks computer because their AMD is a volcano, but the fan speeds always revert to 46% after a while. I have observed and I have noted that the cause appears to be that the mobo is sending alerts that the CPU is reaching temperatures anywhere from 80-100 degrees (C) at times! When it does this, fans boost to 100% and then dies. I'm not sure if that temperature can even be tolerated and does anyone have a solution so that I may stabilize the situation?
