Probably getting a Wii...what should I know?

My uncle is coming over in about 2 weeks and wants to get us a Wii. I hear its out of stock, is that true? If/when I do get one, is there any insider info I should know about em?

Wiis demand still has not matched supply, so you gotta hit the right store at the right time to snag one. If you need help locating one, look around here for rumors and links to store inventory:

Spend the extra bucks and get some rechargeable batteries. It'll save you money in the long run.

Try and get one though the OCF Classifieds as well...I think there are 2 right now going for $300 a pop

If you see a Wiimote and a Nunchuk, BUY IT! Do not pass go, do not collect $200. 'cause odds are that you won't see them again.

Some games have a learning curve. Don't get frustrated. Just spend some extra time. You'll get it eventually.

Wear your wrist strap! Wear it diligently.

Buy a rechargable battery kit. It will save you money in the long run.
