Best XP-M CPU

Does anyone know of any links for a list of the best Athlon XP-M processors for OCing?
If not it would be nice to hear some of your favorites for OC ?

the 2600+ XP-M was hailed as the best, but some 2500+'s and 2400+'s did just as good....

these things love voltage, and the better the cooling, the better the o/c...

3 best mobo's are the ASUS A7N8X Deluxe 2.0, Abit NF7-S 2.0, and the DFI Lanparty NF2 Ultra-B, where the Abit and DFI are tied for the best of the best, volt-mod the ASUS and it's right there with the other 2

i run my system 24/7, on custom phase built by Jinu117
my X800GTO is unlocked to 16 pixel pipelines , with Arctic Cooling cooler

funnest system i've ever played with

I've gone through all 3 mobo's i listed earlier, multiple cpu's, a 9800 pro which i was able to turn into a 9800xt, multiple sticks of ram... but only ever had to buy 1 psu, my Antec...

and all that fun thanx to this site, which is where i first learned to overclock..

i've built many machines for friends/co-workers, online buddies, family, from P4's, to AXP's, C2D's, and a whole slew of A64's, and none come close to as fun as my own setup has been.

My avatar was a screenshot from my 2400+ mobile, it took a bit of voltage and water cooling to get it there stable, but I got it to 2.6 GHz on air. I managed to get it into windows at 2.8 GHz, but it would have required phase change cooling to get any stability out of it at that point, I had it jacked to 2.1V at that point and the windows open in the middle of winter.

This was the highest screenshot I got on my 2400+, the actual voltage was 1.95V, CPU-Z never reported temps for that mobo correctly.

WOW! those are great numbers. Way above stock. I dont think that my 2800+barton(non mobile) is going to go any higher.Right now its at 2310mhz ((210x11)) Air cooled, with a SI-97 HSF. 48`c Load.

Of all the AMD's I've owned over the years, my 2500+ and 2400+ mobile were my favorites. I got about 2.5GHz on air with the 2500+ and then sold it for a profit of $20 to some guy in South Korea... then I bought the 2400+ and it was even better. The fully unlocked multiplier when paired with a high and low multiplier capable board made it just about the most fun chip ever.

My XP-M 2600+ IDYHA 0505WPMW.

IQYHA steppings are considered the best, although my IDYHA did better than most.

2700Ghz @ 1.975vcore on a Abit NF7-S v2.0 27/7 for about a year. Topped with a TT Big Typhoon + TFB1212GHE Delta (220cfm) it ran temps in the 35s under load. Very fast. I have heard of no one else running 2.7Ghz XP on air 24/7.

http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=94803

could post at 2.8, but no further. Word of warning though, that chip is damaged now (although still runs daily), but it won't overclock at all anymore. Needs 1.7 volts for 2100Mhz now gets worse all the time.
