My main objective was to get best price/performance (planning to get it ready for next gen games, specailly Unreal Tournament 2007 :) ).
SO no extreme high end stuff other than video card (which is not THAT hi end nowadays :) )

Highlights:
- Total price = $1075
- DS3 mobo rev 3.3
- A DATA 2GB 6400 DDR2 (for about $115 :) )
- Antec Nine Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case ($130)
- 6600 processor (maybe replace with 6620 next week??)
- 8800 GTS 640MB (wonder if worth the 320MB or get 320MB for $100 less. DirectX 10 THAT important???)
- I will reuse my current POWER SUPPLY: ANTEC SMART POWER 2.0 500W. IS THIS ENOUGH??? at least for now?????

Any other suggestion? My power supply concern? Note that that supply is currently running my current system for a while now with no issues.

Thanks a lot in advance.

Looks pretty good to me, but i would think twice about using that PSU with an 8800 series card.

That is a pretty good build and similar to the build I am using for my friend's computer. If I were you though I would make some changes..
- RAM: Newegg has OCZ Platinum for a buck cheaper. Better for OCing too than your A Data.
- Case: I would settle for a cheaper case but that's just me.
- CPU: There is no 6620 coming out. Maybe you are referring to the 6420 which you can get for considerably cheaper than the 6600. I am getting my friend the 6320 though.
- GPU: 640MB vs 320MB varies among the resolution you are playing at. I heard that anything above 1680 x 1050 warrants picking up the 640MB card.
- PSU: I would definetely pick up a new power supply. I would not risk such high end parts with that Antec. I am getting my friend the Corsair 520HX but I am not sure if that will handle the 640MB GTS. 620HX will be more than enough though.

i wouldnt/didnt - i have that same PSU and she runs great - even with my D920 @ 3.75GHZ she still says nice and cool. :)

nice build looks kinda similar to mine!

i love my evga 8800gts 640mb... IMO dont get the 320mb version. and ur PSU is fine its way more than enough... i can guarentee that system with cpu at 4ghz and the 8800gts @ 650/2000 wouldne pull more than 350 watts. if that.
