What CPU type whould i get

i have OCZ DDR 800 1GBX2 dual channeled & i want to know what CPU type

a friend said E6400 but there not fast enough i want one at least 2.5Ghz

You can always overclock them...this is OCForums... :bday:

Like posted above you could easily overclock any C2D processor beyond your stated speeds. If you aren't going to overclock at all though, you would have to get at least a E6700 to achieve those speeds at stock.

The e6400 will easily reach 2.50. Probably will go way further than that.

Like thideras said, it's the over clockers forum. Get one and crank her on up.
