Ninty aquires Monolith Soft

Monolith Soft, not the same one that does FEAR, the Japanese developer that put out the Zeno Saga's for PS2. Looks like Wii might get some more epic game goodness....which it really needs instead of marble games.

Fudge you know the Zeno Saga games for PS2...the turn based RPG's?...very japanese.....never played any but they were about 9/10's from what I've always seen. Anyway...can't hurt to have Nintendo own some more IP's since Sony and MS are trying to gobble everything up.

That's why I don't recognize them. I don't play RPGs or imported games. Nintendo needs more non-1st party support so taking a 3rd party and making them a 1st although a roundabout method can't hurt either.

The Xenosaga series is pure crap, plain and simple. A total borefest. I think the first one had something like 30 hours of cutscenes. The first six hours or so only include about 90 minutes of gameplay.

XenoGEARS for the PSX, however, is one of the best RPGs ever made.

Technically, Monolith Soft is a 2nd party

Now Nintendo just has to buy a majority stock in SEEDS, and we'll be all set.

I think they did some cool older PC games like AVP2 and No One Lives For Ever.
