EVGA 680i questions?

This is the board I am looking at getting,

122-CK-NF68-T1 LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 680i SLI ATX Intel Motherboard.

Does anyone know what the difference between the 67 and 68 models?

Also, is the only difference between the A1, and T1 models, the cables that are included?

This is the system I am looking at putting together, I would appreciate any input about the EVGA 680i Mobo and these components, thanks.

I've been using a 122-CK-NF68-T1 for about a month now. Great board. The difference between the A1 and T1 version is this: A1 has a lifetime warranty and a full cadre of cables, a manual, etc.; the T1 has a 3-year warranty, and comes with a quick-start guide, a driver CD, some IDE and SATA cables, but none of the font panel connections or extras of the A1.

The -67 models support up to DDR2-800 and a 1066 FSB, while the -68 models support DDR2-1200 and a 1333Mhz fsb.

Check out my sig - your proposed setup is very similar to what I run. I watercool the video card and processor, but I wish I put the NB into that loop. The NB runs notoriously hot on 680i boards (about 50C idle with the heatpipe/fan). I'm going to splurge for an aftermarket cooling solution for the NB and SB. eVGA has a pretty standard (NVIDIA reference) heatpipe solution, but the little fan that attaches to it - required for any sort of bearable temps - emits a high-pitched whine.

Other than that nitpick, this has been a great board. Had the FSB up to 495, but I don't need it that high with an 8x multi on the e6600.

you can go into the bios and set the NB fan speed, i set mine to 85%. its much quieter.
