the past few days my graphics have been blinking/distorting in 3d mode (trees and stuff extend them selfs across the screen, text blinks ect...) im running ati tool to adjust the fan speeds. i dont ever see the gpu go over 65C under load so i dont think thats the problem.

now.. past week its got alot hoter here in NY and about a week ago i installed a new chipset heatsink thats passive. it seems to get really hot to the touch and the VRMs are right above it. if the heat is soakin in to the VRMs would this cause my problem? i can rig up a 80mm fan on the chipset but its gona have to push air onto the card/VRMs so i dunno if that will help even.
