P5W wont boot at all is it dead?

I took my ram out today and replaced it,upon rebooting the pc i got the usual beep, but got no monitor signal, assuming it was the vga card i reseated it and tried to reboot several times with no joy. I then reseated the ram in a different combination of slots and tried 1 stick at a time to see if that could be the issue, but now, i dont even get the bios beep sound, all fans power up on the board/case/cpu and vga but nothing else.

Please help.

Rma is probably out of the question as i have removed the caps off the nb/sb although it is total bs for manufacture to assume that this should warrant voiding any responsobility. After paying £150 for a board that has went faulty after onlyr3 months use,do you guys think i have any chance of replacement or not?

In my experience, it could be anything. I had a non-POSTing board, and after RMAing the board, CPU, and RAM, the RAM finally did it.

Start with whatever's cheapest and replace things one by one.

That does sound like the video card. It's possible to damage it by just having it move around in the slot when turning it on.

Look at the bright side...much easier to swap out a stick of ram than all the components attached to a mobo.

Very true, will crucial refund my money on the ram or just replace it?

I dont think this mobo and ram play nice and am probably going to go for a better kit and if 2 kits have died i dnt really want to have to rma every month or so,any suggestions of a good set seeing as ddr2 is so cheap atm?
