hey i recently helped my friend install some more memory and a new power supply...after the memory was installed he had less fps in WOW and CS 1.6 and its running very choppy....what should i do...he has a machines p4, geforce 5200 and now 2 gig of memory

Well it's obviously his videocard holding him back, but to answer your question, I would have no idea why more RAM would mean less FPS unless you now have an odd number of sticks in the system, like if he started with 2 x 512 and you added a 1 x 1g (total of 3 sticks), that means the RAM isn't working in dual-channel.

im not exactly sure what it means by not working in a duel channel but thats exactly what it is....the new stick is 1gig and the old ram was 2 512mb sticks...
