"always on outlets"

I bought a new surge suppressor/protector and it has 8 outlets, two of which are labeled "always on". Unfortunatley the documentation doesn't say anything regarding this.

Should I have anything in particular plugged into these outlets?

probably something you dont want to shut off when you switch the power button the strip to off... like if you wanted to keep a tv powered why the rest of the stuff on the strip was shut off.

All it means, is that those outlets stay powered up when you shut the power off on the power strop with the switch.

the switch on the strip does not effect the power of those like it says
they are always on
unless... you unplug it
