Abit9 Quad Gt or Gigabyte GA-965P-DQ6. What should I choose?


If I can choose between these boards, which one should I go for?

Both are pretty feature rich and people are getting high clocks from them. What other components do you plan on using with whatever board you choose?

had both a 965P-DS4 (slightly despecced DQ6) & a QuadGT - imo the QuadGT is better thanb the DS4 & certainly better value than the DQ6 unless you need a feature that the QuadGT doesn't have (e.g. you need a COM port)

You should be able to get a cheap PCI card with both LPT and COM ports if you really need one for legacy peripherals like an old printer.

Don't let legacy hardware hold you back
