Hey all,
I am building a custom project but I need some info and opinions on rads, fans, and couplings.

First off I am looking for opinions on what it would take to cool 2 X quad cores, 2 X 8800gtx (or dual 2900XTX) and chipset. Are we talking 2 X dual rads or do we think that is more like 2 X triple rads, or even bigger? What about dual pa160's? and what brand rads to go with? Keep in mind I want to be as quite as possible ( I would like near silence), So low CFM is a must.

Second question is what are the absolute best fans for lowest noise while providing the best possible performance.

Last I would like to know if anyone has info on Dripless quick couplings (disconnects) for 3/4 or 7/16 masterkleer or tygon tubbing like we all use on our loops. I know something was posted about some of these some time ago but I cant find the thread, so any help is appreciated.

I have a monster project in the works that I think you guys are gonna love. I just need to get some of the final planning done then once I get all the funds together I will prob start a project post on it.
So thanx or any info guys and sorry about the long post
JC

And opinions are what you're going to get, not facts. Why don't you just do the calculations?

And I've seen a couple of dual quad core, SLI machines on air. Can you say Hoover Vacuum cleaner? Water will be the same. To get that much heat out you have to move alot of air. Yeah, multiple rads with low CFM fans...sure, maybe 4 of them.
