Before I get into this, I have to admit that I have a very terrible memory when it comes to certain things, but not electronics. This one just baffles me though....
I was doing some cleaning some time ago, had a pile of old papers sitting in a corner of the closet, at the bottom of which I found a ABIT BE6 board still in the box. Now mind you, I have hardware still sitting around in various places throughout my room, from my very first computer (486DX 33), to all kinds of add-on cards. I can pretty much recall where every piece is, as well as which system(s) it was in with what hardware.
But for the life of me, I cant remember why I have this BE6 board, when I got it, or for what reason. I already have a BE6 board that I've used for a long, long time (might be dead now) so I never had use for a 2nd one before. Its baffling to me why I even have it in the first place.
Anyone else ever had this happen to them? Buy a part, store it, only to find it way down the line and not even remember why you got it?
