Better sli performance?

Better sli performance?

i cant decide whether to get 2 7900gs in sli, or 2 8600gt in sli. Which would have better overall performance. Would it be more worth it to go for one higher end card?

Here are the particular 2, the 7900gs:

why do that when a single 8800GTS will mop the floor with both of those setups?
and your link for the 7900's is pointing to a powmax case

imo you should always go for the current "level" of technology if you can.

8 series gets my vote.
