Cheap computer set-up

Hi

I am currently running the following comp:

AMD Athlon XP 2400
512Mb (2x256Mb) DDR PC2100 RAM
VIA MSI 6712 KT600 (w/ LAN onboard sound but hv got audigy)
64Mb Graphics card - forget the manufacturer
Samsung Spinpoint Drive 120gb
Nexus 400W power supply.

I think it is time for a new rig, but i don't really want to spend more than £250. I will need a new CPU/Mobo/RAM/gfx (socket A is dead architechture)but i want to save some money si it eeds to be able to run off the 400W supply. I'd like 1 gb of Ram too.

Can anyone make some suggestions....is 250 attainable with UK prices?

(ps - don't care about CPU manufacturer, just want a reliable/fast(ish) (when compared to the above set up)

The usual suspects really.....ebuyer, scan, komplett.

I know £250 is pretty tight, but i don't have the money now for an all singing all dancing upgrade and it seems absolutely pointless upgrading things like the RAM and graphics card since you can get faster RAM for the same price and probably double the amount and like i said socket A is dead now.

If anyone can recoomend or spot a good CPU mobo ram combo let me know.
