Hi, I was thinking about buying this ocz ram for my future upgrade:

http://www.ncix.com/

I won't be using ATI crossfire, but will be getting an nvidia card while keeping the sli option open for the future.

Does it matter if I get this ram, or would it be better if I picked something else?

Off Topic: IF you are a canadian, look at NCIX's sister company (directcanada.com) for good deals as well.

On Topic: It doesn't mean much more than it was tested and certified to work with ATI crossfire and somehow 'optimized' to work with it. Suffice it to say, its pretty pointless. Nvidia approves SLI ready ram as well.

Another noob question, and off-topic, but I'm looking at an Asus p5b deluxe, and it says it's ati crossfire certified. Does this mean I won't be able to use SLI in the future?

(thx for the canadian site link, btw)

Just for clarification, this is what I'm planning on upgrading to:

Intel Core Duo E6420
8800 gts
2 gigs of dual channel ram (most likely the link above)
Asus p5b deluxe, or MSI P965 Platinum
I also need two power supplies, one for my old comp and one for this newer one.

What would you recommend would be the best mobo for a mid-range price?
