Although it shows we gained total members, our active member count seems flat to me.

Thanks Dave.

Yea Pete, our active users drops every week. We are under 600 now.

That was our peak time this year. In June that is, we were really up. Not sure I want to see the chart for the rest of the year.

I sure love Empirical evidence that Dave supplies. Think I'll go look at the Monkey stats to cheer myself up.(Or maybe climb under my table and stare at my Quad)

It is very saddening to see our numbers that low. MPC is gaining on us by about 72,000 PPD judging by the last time I looked. We are nowhere near being able to catch OCAU, but we were just a few months ago. There has to be something we can do to bring those numbers back. A while back, one of the members here, I think it might have been Pete, was tracking down some of the old members. Maybe that would be a good place to start. Try to get some of the members showing 0 PPD back, and plugging F@H everywhere we go. Maybe even some kind of folding competition that would be put in the announcements like the benching team had, and borging every rig that we have the chance to, even the older P4 and AXP rigs. I am not sure of any other ideas, but there has to be something we can do.

Well let's just hope that more of our inactive members do the same thing you did. Even if not for the same reasons, hopefully we can convince atleast some of them to come back.

I'll take credit for that... and bump the thread at least. Seems to have worked well for a couple of our lost brethren.

Still... pound for pound, we're probably the strongest team on the net. And sometimes I think that hurts us more than it helps. As friendly as we are, we don't take enough notice of our smaller contributors as we should. I can understand why someone wouldn't want to Fold with us if all they can get congratulated on is their next million points, some may never get there using only one rig, I think of WII in this case (although he runs two) , he's dedicated, participates, and feels right at home even though he's not in the Top 20 all the time (rock on WII ).... we need to emphasize that every rig and every contribution matters.

Needless to say... the point here is that we need to do something about MinimumPC. I'm maxed out personallly until the AMD quads arrive.
