My Pentium D 945+ (3.40 ghz stock) multiplier regulary changes about ever 5 seconds, from 17x to 12x. i have uninstalled AI booster and changed everything that I can to manual overlocking on motherboard but my multiplier keeps changing and i dont know why.

changes from:
3329.9 (12x)

to

4718.1, varies (17x)

this happens even if i'm not overlocking but sometimes less frequently.

CPU Freuqency: 277.5 x 17
DRAM Freuqency: DDR2 -690mhz
Memory voltage 1.8v (unchanged)
CPU Vcore voltage 1.5v (very stable)
FSB termination voltage 1.30v
MCH chipset voltage 1.55v
ICH chipset voltage 1.05v

My motherboard is Asus P5DL2-Deluxe

So if anybody knows why my multiplier keeps underclocking my frequency by a ghz ever 2 seconds i'd like to hear your knowledge.

Thanks in advance.

Ah, thanks guys. It works a treat. i found it under speedstep. once i'v disabled it will I find overclocking easier?
