Any differences between lapping an Intel CPU compared to an AMD CPU?

short answer: no

long answer: still no.

(obviously with both you'll need to avoid getting water/liquid/debris in any openings or holes, I know there is one on intel CPUs, not sure about AMDs. otherwise, it's the same lapping process)
