Ok so am I screwed now?

Here's the deal,

i bought something from the classies, was $56 usd, so i transferred the money from my bank account to paypal...i waited the 7 days they said it would take for the money to arrive in my paypal account so i could transfer it.. so after those 7 days and no dice i call my bank to cancel the money transfer(i talked to some indian guy from paypal who told me it was going to be delayed 6 more days)

my bank says ok we will get the money back to you on Monday, when i called them it was Friday.

so Saturday i look on my paypal account and see the money ($56) was on my paypal account..i decided to send it and call my bank to cancel the cancellation...they said it will probably not work...

so today..monday i go to my bank account and see that the money i sent($56) is on my bank account again :S, and the money i sent to the seller is also still there...nothing heard from paypal yet..

so am i going to be screwed in anyway now? because this isnt really like i wanted things to go

You lost me there.

But if you have a debit/check card in paypal, you can send money without it being in your paypal account, it just transfers over automatically.

yes i know that and thats what i did,

i read the paypal information and it said it was going to take 7 days to transfer to my account, after 7 days i called paypal customer service to ask what the deal is..they said it was going to take an additional 6 days :S

so i called my bank and i told them to cancel the transfer..now they said the cancellation was going to take 4 days(so till monday)..

the next day i looked at my paypal account the money was written on it :S
then i sent the money to the Seller, and called my bank to ask them to cancel the cancellation..they said it was probably going to be a no go but i said do it anyway,

so today i go look on my Bank account and see the money is written back to my bank account

so infact i sent money without really sending money :S

I follow. You'd best keep in contact with the seller, since he/she is the only one who is really affected here. If they received the payment and are able to withdraw the paypal funds to their bank account, consider it a close call and move on. If they have problems with the payment, then you should re-send, since you got the money back in your account

yeah paypal likes to screw around it seems they are still trying to get money from my gf, she order some perfume off a website, then realized she had no cash in her pp acct which she used, so she canceled the order on the website by calling them, then paypal took money out of her bank, then her bank got it back, and now they are trying to get it back again ,even though she got no product, annoying as hell. ill stick with master card now.

Why didn't you just choose your checking account as the funding method, instead of going through the trouble of transferring the money from your account to paypal, and then paying the seller? Would have saved a step and time.

I used my paypal debit card at an atm a few months ago for $80 and it was never taken out of my paypal account. Maybe you'll be as lucky and they won't notice

a checking account funded payment is still non-cc. you should have selected instant transfer instead of eCheck; they are both bank funded payments, and therefore non-cc

Was the confusion between 7 days and 7 business days? Can be a huge difference
