hey guys. i'm looking to give my child a computer for her birthday and i was wondering if anyone can recommend some good "child monitor/safety" software.
maybe something that'll email me a report or something like that.
usage, keylogging, websites. thing of that sort.

thank you,
ody

How old is the child?

I just built a rig for my 6 year old daughter. I put Edububtu on it and she took right to it. If your daughter is older, as in teenager, Vista user accounts have gotten much better. There is the ability to limit internet access to specific times, an improved content adviser, and I think you can limit access to certain programs.

11 going on 12 tomorrow. naw, this is one of my older rigs. it has a 1ghz processor with 512mb ram. i would go with linux, but i put starcraft/BW, and warcraft 3 on it.
