mitsubishi mcc003/004

I'm using some verbatim (non-printable) dvd+r's atm, with an ID of MCC 003 - from what I've read, a pretty good batch, not taiyo-yuden quality, but at least I don't have to order away for them. Now, along come these 10 for $2 dvd's at the newsagent, and they're MCC 004 - also seemingly made by mitsubishi chemicals corp. Think the quality is the same?

EDIT: The verbatims from a store are getting about 2000/60 PI/PR, the ones from the newsagent get something like 200/60. Should I rely on these results when purchashing, or could the verbatim brand ones be just as good?
