Hi guys, i've just signed in to the forums, so go a bit easy on me :p.
I have my new rig running for about a month now, and i've started to overclock it.
C2D E6850
Gigabyte p35 dq6
2GB Corsair dominator pc8500 with fan
XFX 8800 GTX
and some harddrives in raid-0

I have my system running @ 3.7 ghz ( 410 x 9 ), and with a 10:8 divider my Ram runs @ 514 mhz 4-4-4-15 2.3v
Any lower timings and it will Crash, these timing are purely for finding the max on my Ram so i have a bit of an idea how far they will go on 2.3v.
After seeing the could do cas 4 on 1000 mhz, i figured they would do very well in oveclocking.
Well after trying for almost three days now, i'm unable to get the sticks to run @ 1200 mhz no mather what timings i choose.
I can run them @ 1100 mhz without any isseu's with 5-5-5-12 timing, ( didnt try any tighter ), but they wont do 1150 with 6-8-8-24 ?.
Ive read somewhere that sometimes this mobo has troubles with ram speeds between 1066 and 1200, so i tried 1230 with even higher timings, but still the pc wont even boot.
Any idea's what i could try next?, i really want them to run @ 1200mhz, as that is the next divider i can choose, and with the current divider they are running below factory speeds.

Hey your not alone man. I got Crucial Ballistix 2x 1GB pc2 6400 sticks. That will go to 1200mhz @ 5-5-5-15 @ 2.25v, but wont do 1000mhz @ 4-4-4-12 @ 2.25v. Haha, your basically the opposite of me.
