I also would like to know if it supports WPA2 or not.

i have the board and the wifi, but i don't use it. Disabled it in bios. with a cable and my gigabit switch, its much faster! Anyway, i do not see what the card would not support these two options as they are software based and not reliant on the hardware used. at least I'm 90% sure thats the case.

Yes the on board wifi supports wpa and wpa2
