I dunno if this is the right spot but it seemed appropriate. Anywho I was wondering where are there any programs/utilities that would assign individual programs to specific cores. This would help a lot in managing programs that don't have dual core threading wrote in them.

Thanks,
Mike

You can set a program to use only one core through windows.

Just hit control alt delete, Find the process you want, right click it, go to affinity and select which core you want.

Also it doesn't really matter if the program supports dual core or not. you don't really need to set the affinity, if it doesnt support dual core it will use only 50% cpu max. If it does support dual core it will use 100%.
