Norton Ghost Help

I want to put a complete and totally fresh image of my HD on a seperate HD on my system. Windows XP, windows updates, drivers, BF2142, BF2, etc... I've never done this before and I do not have a manual on how to do this. Can someone please post a step by step process on how to do this?

I've been wanting to do this for a long time but I'm real hesitant on what to do, how to go about it, and the do's and dont's.
