Have you noticed? (newegg)

I was just browsing through newegg for computer cases and have you noticed that there are more cases that come without a PSU? I am thinking this is because more people are buying their PSU's separately.

Have you noticed this trend? Do you think that this will bleed over into other sorts of components? I can't think off hand (more because of the alcohol (it's my 27th bday)) what other components might start becoming more "personalized", but are there any that might allow are deeper customization of parts?

it is also cheaper to NOT include the PSU. They can arguably make more money NOT including one.

due to the less weight on shipping, however, i bet newegg has some flat rate deal going on with fedex / ups, but regardless they make a killing on shipping alone due to them shipping out separate boxes.
